At the beginning of September, we relaunched roam concierge with a single goal: helping international students save money.
In just a few weeks, our team has already spoken with 75 students, helping them cut thousands of dollars in unnecessary costs.
From getting affordable health insurance to setting up bank accounts, SIM cards, and credit cards without SSNs, we’ve made the financial side of moving abroad much simpler and less expensive.
In just 15 minutes, we can help you save up to $3,000 by switching to the most budget-friendly options for these key services.
Best of all, the call is completely free! We’ll walk you through the entire process, and in no time, you’ll be set up and saving.
As a bonus, we’re offering one lucky person the chance to win $500 through our raffle if they sign up with one of our partners.
So, not only do you save money during your free 15-minute call - you might walk away with even more. Ready to get started? Schedule your call with us now and see how much you can save!
Event Coverage
roam is all about building a strong community, and what better way to do that than through events? Here is a behind the scene look at our first event here in New York City!
roam x Adro 8/30/2024 📍 NYC
On August 30th, still in the height of orientation week, we hosted an unforgettable party in the heart of New York City, bringing together over 100 international students.
For many, this was the perfect break from the whirlwind of adjusting to a new city, school, and culture. The energy in the room was contagious as we all bonded over shared experiences—navigating a new country along with the excitement and nerves of starting fresh.
This event, held in collaboration with our friends at Adro, wasn’t just a party; it was a home away from home.
We know how tough those first few weeks can be, and we wanted to create a space where students could let loose, make friends, and feel like they belong.
Conversations flowed easily as the dance floor came alive, and you could feel the connections forming as the night went on.
At roam, we’re dedicated to building these moments of community for international students, and this is only the beginning.
We're planning more events across the U.S., giving international students more chances to meet, support one another, and thrive in their new environments.
Stay tuned for more details in our next newsletter, where we’ll dive into event highlights and share some amazing pictures!
That’s all for this week’s edition of roam’s newsletter! If you’ve been with us for a while, thank you for sticking around and being part of this growing community. And if you’re new – welcome aboard! We’re so glad to have you with us.
As always, keep an eye out for more exciting updates in the weeks to come!
See you next week!
